Athlete First. Victory Follows.
At Victory Rowing, we believe that true athletic progress starts with the health and well-being of the individual. Led by an experienced, US Rowing Level 2 certified High School Head Coach, our small-group clinics focus on safety, proper technique, and personal goal-setting. We don't just build rowers; we build healthy, confident athletes from the inside out.
The Summer Clinic Experience
"We provide a welcoming, high-quality athletic environment where participants discover the fundamentals of rowing, build confidence, and experience the unique camaraderie of a team sport. Our upcoming 1-week summer clinics are primarily designed to give 11 to 14-year-olds a fantastic, hands-on introductory experience on the water. However, we are highly flexible—if there is interest from other age groups or skill levels, we are fully prepared to adapt our sessions to suit. No prior experience is required—just a curiosity to try something new."

Head Coach
Ed Reilly
With years of coaching experience leading high-level athletic programs—including serving as the Head Coach for Rumson-Fair Haven Rowing, Coach Reilly brings elite-level technical expertise and a passion for mentorship to Victory Rowing.
A US Rowing Level 2 certified coach, Ed specializes in breaking down the complex mechanics of rowing into simple, fun, and accessible steps for newcomers. Having successfully coached athletes to championship levels, his focus for Victory Rowing’s summer clinics is entirely on the individual: prioritizing safety, building personal confidence, and introducing the unique joy of the sport in a supportive, welcoming environment. Whether an athlete is taking their very first strokes or looking to refine their skills, they are learning from one of the area's top rowing mentors.
